Placenta Encapsulation
Consuming the placenta has been practiced for centuries and will continue to be a medically used practice world wide. Though to have many benefits for the mother and baby placenta eating has been proven to fix many ailments mothers report post-partum.
*80% of mothers experience baby blues, some which advance to post-partum depression, and some which turn into psychosis, which is dangerous for the child and only occurs 1/500 births
Consuming the placenta raw or dehydrated(with raw being more intense) benefits
Increased iron supply
Greater milk production
More energy
Improved mood
Better maternal bonding
Higher skin elasticity
Faster postpartum healing
Sooth baby teething with tinctures
Heal C-Section Scars with salves
AND MUCH MORE!
Pros of steaming:
Steaming is more likely to kill any surface bacteria on the placenta.
Some believe that cooking makes the iron more bioavailable. We don’t know if this applies to human iron however as most studies have been done on plant and animal sources of iron.
The additional heating of the placenta is in alignment with TCM principles of increasing warming, yang energy to balance cold, yin energy that is more prevalent postpartum.
Cons of steaming:
The placenta loses approximately 35% of it’s mass during steaming (most of which is blood). This yields less pills.
Even if the herbs or foods aren’t dehydrated and powdered into the final pills they may have come in contact with the placenta during the process. This could cause an allergic reaction in food sensitive women.
Pills are dehydrated placenta grinned into a powder and placed in a easy to swallow capsule.

Yoni Steaming
Yoni steaming, also known as vaginal steaming, is a practice in which a woman allows the warmth of herbal steam to permeate the exterior of her vagina and had been done for centuries and still to this day around the globe.
As part of an overall self-care regime, we recommend that women steam two to three times per month, always during weeks in which you are not menstruating. Women who suffer from pain, bloating or exhaustion during menstruation should steam two to three times within the week before menstruation. Women who are experiencing fertility challenges should steam once per week, and maybe twice during pre-ovulation, to make sure that the tissue is moist and that the cervical fluids are clear and copious. They should expect to steam for three months before seeing results. For the postpartum, a yoni steam may be done three times per week for four weeks to facilitate healing and toning of the uterus and vagina (please be sure there are no open wounds and that you are no longer bleeding). Women who are experiencing or who have passed menopause should steam at least three times per year for maintenance, but may steam more often if it feels right. If your challenges are chronic, you may want to steam up to three times per week to ensure the greatest results.
Women report:
Significantly reduce pain, bloating and exhaustion associated with menstruation.
Decrease menstrual flow as well as reduce dark purple or brown blood at the onset or end of menses.
Regulate irregular or absent menstrual cycles.
Increase fertility
Speed healing and tone the reproductive system after birth.
Reduce uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, uterine weakness, uterine prolapse & endometriosis.
Assist with the repair of a vaginal tear, episiotomy, or C-section scar.
Assist with the healing of hemorrhoids.
Relieve chronic vaginal/yeast infections, and works to maintain healthy odor.
Ease symptoms of menopause including dryness or pain during intercourse.
Detoxify the womb and remove toxins from the body.
Release stored emotions and tap into the energy that is our creative potential.
Foot Detox Soak
Detoxing, short for detoxification, is intended to eliminate or neutralize toxins throughout the body. Toxins are virtually everywhere, including in the foods we eat, the water we drink, the air we breathe, and common home products. Since the feet are rich with nerve endings and sweat glands, it seems like the ideal place in the body to detox and de-stress. There’s no denying that soaking your body or just your feet in hot or warm water is calming. But hot detox foot baths may also help reduce swelling, boost your immune system, and improve your overall health and mood. A recent study even found that, like exercise, hot baths can help burn calories, boost cardiovascular health, and encourage normal blood sugar. People who advocate for detoxing through the feet say that it can ease mental distress while improving sleep and overall well-being. Benefits include:
Remove toxins,impurities, and metals
Reduces swelling
Calms the body
Boosts your immune system
Improves mood
Burns calories
Encourages normal blood sugar
Boosts cardiovascular health
Ear Candling
Once an age-old remedy, the practice of Ear Candling is now making its resurgence in modern times. This treatment was used in India, China, Tibet, Egypt, Mayan, Aztec and American Indian cultures.
It is a safe, gentle method of cleansing the ear canal by means of inserting a hollow “candle”. It removes excessive ear wax (which can impair hearing), yeast, fungus, and bacteria build-up due to ear infections. It has been known to reduce noise from tinnitus (ringing in the ears). Earaches are often caused by mucous blown into the ear from the eustachian tube. Ear candling may often release this fluid pressure and thus relieve the pain. Candida can cause a yeast allergy, which causes itching in the ear. Parasites may also cause problems if allowed to grow in the ear. The warm, moist environment of the ear canal is an ideal breeding place for the rapid growth of many organisms. Ear Candling may help reduce or eliminate many of these symptoms.
Ear Candling may benefit all ages, from children to the elderly.
Anyone who has had recent surgery on the ears, nose, throat or sinuses, including the insertion of tubes in the ears that could be dislodged should not do this.
In cases of chronic ear discomfort, we recommend that a client be candled in about two weeks from their first treatment. Generally, we suggest an individual have their ears candled with the change of seasons or as needed due to allergies, swimmer’s ear, etc
Some of the other proposed benefits of ear candling include:
-
removing wax, bacteria, and other debris from the ear canal
-
treating sinus infections
-
improving hearing or reversing hearing loss
-
relieving sore throats
-
treating colds and flus
-
improving mental clarity
-
purifying the blood
-
improving lymphatic circulation
-
clearing the eyes and improving vision
-
reducing pain related to jaw aches and temporomandibular disorders
-
reducing tension and stress
-
reducing vertigo
